Someone in the comments of a pc gamer article said the 490x will have 2tb of VRAM, go for that.

 

but will it run Crysis. 

Cpu : AMD Ryzen 3 1200 (3.8Ghz), Motherboard : Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 - RAM : 8GB DDR4 2933 Team (Vulkan) memory, GPU : MSI GTX 980 4GB Case : Antec P50, Storage : 120GB Samsung SSD, 3TB WD Blue, PSU : 530w Thermaltake SPS-530MPC, Cooling : Artic freezer Pro 7, OS : Windows 10.

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

To cut down on redundant threads I am posting this. This is based only on official information, not on rumors, many of which contradict each other anyway making it pointless to speculate based on them.

AMD has confirmed that the new Fiji XT and Fiji pro chips will not make you a cup of coffee. But will boil the water for you.

I found this article about Fury and Fury... And there we don't know yet how much will those cost. 

 

That 512GB/s memory bandwidth. This ought to push out some significant performance.

These watercooled cards are going to demand some interesting configs if people go those x2 in a case with a couple of SSD's and HDD's etc. The one reason I was worried about a 280mm rad was not having the fan space to pull out air, but it's not as bad as I thought, but the H440 with XF of these would be an interesting build, more bigger ATX / XL-ATX builds on the way?
