What OS is the best OS for me?

I making my other gaming pc. It will have 8GB Ram and I need an os as cheap as possible. Please link me to a dutch/german page with it. Thank you. (Budget: No more than 100 dollars.)

Go for windows then, I know it's paid..... But most games are windows compatible.

Windows 8. Just get one of the versions and update to 8.1.

Best for gaming.

Windows 8 is around $100, but would have the most games.

Linux is free, but has fewer games.

theres only 3 cases where you should go for linux on a gaming pc:

 

- SteamOS

- if you like experimenting

- if there is NO budget for an OS (EDIT: tech savvy person required)

 

in ALL other cases, windows is the way to go. (preferably 8, because you have to stay modern)

Wiindows 8.1, well you can also buy windows 8, and get the free update to windows 8.1. And then you could also get a free upgrade to windows 10 later.

U can run any games on linux, but there will be problems with drivers.

Just get a win8. Win7 helped us to make a fresh breath after the vista, but win8 is that what everyone should have.
