The most graphically demanding next gen PC games

Hey guys. What's the most graphically demanding next gen pc game (from 2014 and 2015) you played so far. Mine would be Dragon Age inquisition. Even though i manage to get 45-55 fps all the time (Far Cry 4 up to 60 fps), i still think it's very graphically demanding, i haven't played the other big names.

Anything by Ubisoft. They are systemically demanding due to shoddy optimization. 

The projects never end in my line of work.

It crashes too easy so you would have to stop after only a few mods :P

I was having a lot of fun, enjoying its beauty....  Suddenly it froze and crashed.... Had to remove most of the mods  :P

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Shadow of Mordor? It's pretty intensive on the GPU.

I would now call 'Next Gen' DX12 driven games, and DX11 current gen.

Best graphics,.. regardless of if its a linear game or not,... Crysis3,.. Sleeping Dogs, TBH I don't play a lot of games anymore,.. but were impressed by these two.

That's why you should Mod Manager, just be able to turn them off and see what is causing issues.

Still have to get around installing it though :P

I didn't know that, I just installed it directly....  If something gone wrong I just removed it... Permanently..... Should have used Mod Manager....  :P

Crysis 3 is probably still the gold standard. Skyrim to a lesser degree because it doesn't have massive multiplayer action scenes and is more of a theatrical fantasy artistic game.

I'm sorry but PC: DOESNT HAVE ANYTHING LIKE "NEXT GEN" because games are not being designed for a specific generation of PC hardware, we don't have games specifically optimized for "haswell and Maxwell"...

Consoles are obsolete unupgradable just like phones, therefore we can devide them into "generations".

I don't like that wording for PCs because we can customize it, its not being sold as one whole piece only :)

Answer to your question: I'm not sure which of mine is graphically most demanding since it all depends on how they optimize the thing... I would say Aram 3 but game is not optimized therefore I have lower fps than I could have.

So I'm gonna say Crysis 3 :)

I'd say Crysis 3, Metro last light, Farcry 3, Battlefield 4, Tomb Raider, Hawken and Witcher 2 are some of the best looking games I've played. They're maybe not the most "demanding" but they look good and are well optomized. On the other hand there are some that are more "demanding" But not because of looks just bad coding and optimization.

 

I can't help but feel like the crysis series has consistently been ahead of its time. I remember having an "insane" lol q6600 with sli 8800 gtx cards when crysis was released and being able to pull like 30fps at 1680x1050 Even now looking back at that engine with the destructible environment and the fact that shooting or walking past branches made them move, let alone the particles and lighting, is crazy for a now coming up on 10 year old engine. 

 

Edit: Somehow left out Shadow of Mordor, the modded Lithtech engine they used is pretty intense.
