HyperX Cloud 2 Headset problem.

Flaygonri

I just bought the HyperX Cloud 2 headset to replace my broken Siberia V2's, and since the first moment I plugged it in, I can hear a faint white noise whenever there is a sound being made from the computer. Are there any solutions to this problem? *Note, I'm using the USB soundcard that came with the headset.

Plug it into a different port? I'm unsure of the connectors on this headset, could be the port giving you noise. Does this happen with any other audio device?

It could also be the USB adapter too. I've heard that the USB adapter is pretty crap on the cloud 2.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)

I had the same problem. I contacted HyperX and searched around myself a bit and it seems the USB soundcard they give you are just not the best quality.

You can try to send it back and see if a new one doesn't have this problem but I just bought a different pair of headphones.

EDIT: Just buy the HyperX Cloud 1, I had them in the past and they're great if you have a half-decent soundcard in your PC (newer motherboards have a great soundcard as well) it sounds awesome.

I had the same problem and even plugging it in different PC's didn't fix it. The soundcard is quite low end to say the least.

Funny you say that, because I actually just returned the Cloud 1's in return for these, for the fact that the cloud 1's had much more problems than these.

If you got a usb hub (those thingy with lots of port), sometimes they can remedy noise problems. Depending on the quality and internal circuitry of the hub itself. It's not a sure shot though, so just try this if you got one lying around.
