I get to trade in my S4 for a new phone in July. Going with whatever fits my needs then. Probably the S6.

This poll is kinda stupid... A phone can certainly impress you without making you change your current one... I for one am impressed by M9 :) Well, i won't really say impressed as not betrayed :D I expected a lot more from Samsung. I understand they wanted to stop using plastic, but they could've used metal edges, like Note 4... But no... Also, batter changeability and SD card slot were a big, big plus for Samsung in my book! They also removed that....

While HTC made a right choice :D They didn't go with 1440p because at some point it becomes ridiculous to up the resolution... 1080p is good enough for phones... And that design, oh boy :D The only little flaw i can see with M9 is that i personally don't like that rectangular camera, nothing else... If they could've added an SD card slot (i believe it doesn't have it) would have been perfect :D :D

So, M9 is the winner in my book :D

both are boring. Galaxy S6 looks like an iPhone and the I was really hoping the M9 would have a more industrial look to the speakers and would have ousted the front facing logo.

HTC M9 Seems to just be a refresh without any real value adds.

Same with the Samsung Galaxy S6 the S6 Edge looks cool but its a gimmick however the improved fingerprint reader is the only real value add.

I think I will stick with my OnePlus One for now.

I like the one m9 the most, I'm looking at it for my new phone, however the OPO and zenfone 2 are other devices I'm keeping my eye on.

1080p is good enough for phones at 5" and under...

FTFY, as I can still pick out pixels if I try hard enough on my 5.5" OPO. IMO, 1440p should be the bare minimum for anything over 5". 500PPI+ FTW.

Anybody can see pixels if they try hard enough... I certainly don't use my phone 3 cm from it's screen... I use it at a reasonable distance :D

Let's just say that they should go below 400ppi :D

There are other benefits to using DDR4 besides performance, like lower power consumption.

Most likely why they added it since they don't allow removable backs anymore.

Are you high! 1080p is more than enough.

Don't intend on upgrading any time soon but I think I prefer the M9 although the S6 Edge looks interesting. Also hoping the rumoured Z4 Compact is true.
