Identifying background item

So there is this blue cylindrical thing i see in the videos.  I've been wondering what it is.  My speculation is that it's some packaging but i think it could be a custom case.  Any ideas?

Its some promo box that intel sendt to reviewers i think it had an SSD and  5960X in it or something...

It's an alien capsule containing no less than 7 smaller capsules which each contain a highly sophisticated lifeform from several outlaying planets in the universe. Given to Linus by the all knowing, all seeing GabeN as LTT's Birthday present.

 

Oh, it's an intel reviewer prop? oh... Well that's no fun at all!

It's just the packaging from Intel.

 

It contains 5960X and a 240Gig of Intel series 730.

Wow that was a fast reply by the way props to you. Ah darn I was hoping for an atx case or something. 

 

Oh they should mod it and put an entire system in it that would we pretty awesome having your system rise up and out when you turn it on and light up. It'll probably have to be an ITX system though but none the less still awesome!

I think a mini atx board could fit inside if the maniacal parts that made the lift come out were taken out would be kinda cool to see if a system could actually be modded into it.
