Basically because they had a BETA they're confident TC will have a smooth launch come Tuesday.

First point is I doubt enough people will buy it to cause them any server issues on launch day but beyond that, how fucking stupid are they? This could be the biggest cock up to date, actually going on record as saying it will have a smooth launch period days before it launches. Then what happens when things go wrong and everyone is quoting this article and demanding Yves Guillemots head on a pike.

I'm beginning to wonder if they are just plain stupid or if they are deliberately trolling us just to see how far they can take it.

Nearly any big game with large dependance on servers has had issues in the last couple of months, even years. Look at the latest WoW expansion, the launch of GTA V. This is not necessarily a bad game, but server issues on launch are nearly always there, so it is a bit foolish to say that they won't have any.

I know heaps of people that are pumped for The Crew, myself included. I think it is a cool premise. However I will wait a bit before buying.
