Start of the GTX 900 series is when Galaxy merged with KFA2, even though they where pretty much to same company. 

Oh, so they just got a name change with the merging just because they could? Now I'll have to force myself not to say Galaxy when speaking or in my posts... :P

Even without lights i would say it goes better with a white board than a full bank of black ram. The best way to go though would be something like kingston hyper x fury in alternating black and white. If only that was a thing in DDR4

i was going for that but remembered they arent ddr4. also you want them black for contrast. usually your gpu yould contrast tge mobo. not here, so you need ram.

It is very pretty, now make it in black with RGB led's on the side of it. (also the white version needs RGB as well)

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

As much as I love the look of that card, the main feature is the white PCB, so, why put a backplate on it?

Most likely less flexing.. That card looks heavy like it would love to flex without something somewhat thing and able to support it. Either way, I like what they did with the card including that backplate. :)
