Lookin in the 700-1000w range for mid high end PSU , at least good enough for SLI 980 . Anything other than Corsair ( bc i know corsair products , i want to learn about other brands ).

EVGA G2, it's one of the cheaper high quality tier 1 supplies made by Superflower.

There's also the NZXT Hale series and the XFX XTR (black edition) series as well.

The thing is... Most brands are just rebranded units from the same manufacturer. (Superflower, FCP group).

So, Corsair, Silverstone, OCZ, NZXT and others will be very similar.

Be quiet ? CM ? Fractal ? Seasonic ?

Are these ok ?

@Nineshadow @TheMcSame @d3sl91

Depends on which actual PSU.

CM isn't all that good though.

Seasonic is really good.

Fractal seems to be good enough as well.

Seasonic is good. BQ, CM and Fractal it will depend what kind. Best 750W right now for the price is EVGA G2, perfect for SLI 980

Fractal seems to be good enough as well.

CM is only good for their V series, and Fractal for their Tesla R2

Seasonic supplies are good, most, if not all of their power supplies are made by them and Seasonic makes some of highest quality power supplies you can find.

As for the other three... Brand doesn't mean anything, it's all about the OEM. Using Corsair as an example, a Corsair CX series PSU isn't as good as an AX series PSU because one (the CX) is made by an unreliable OEM (CWT) that is known for using low quality parts while the other (the AX) is made by a reliable OEM (Seasonic) which has a very good reputation when it comes to their supplies.

Supernova 1000 G2, HX1000i, Seasonic platinum 1000, CM V1000, Newton R3 1000 are all quality units. You can't go wrong with any of them.
