YouTube not working

Go to solution Solved by nanowatt,
  1. Scroll to the bottom of any YouTube page and click “Safety: On”.
  2. Next, click the “off” option.
  3. If you’ve locked Safety mode, you’ll be prompted to login and enter your username and password to confirm that you’d like to turn off Safety mode.
  4. Once you’ve successfully logged in, scroll to the bottom of the page to turn Safety mode off.

Please note: Turning Safety mode off will also disable Google SafeSearch.

I just updated my Chromebook, and now when I'm using my school's account when watching YouTube with my account, it comes up with an error. How can I fix this? I WANNA WATCH YOUTUBE SOOOOO BAD.

No clue. When I use my own account on my Chromebook (like user account to logon and stuff) it works fine, but then I have to use a different wireless network, and it's slow as balls.

Try using ZenMate. It's a free VPN add-on for chrome that usually does the trick for me.

 

Edit: Read the picture thoroughly. You need to disable Safety mode.

Does anyone else using the school network have issues playing youtube? It might be a network restriction...or did it used to work before?

With my school Google account though you can't disable Safety Mode/SafeSearch

It means you don't have administrators rights.Nothing you can do about it

Schools will usually prevent students from watching "inappropriate" content

Still weird since I was using YouTube with my own account (even though I was using my school "user" account for the Chromebook).
