290 cards going for the same price as 770s, nice work AMD.

@HippY I'd definitely suggest getting the Tri-X or Vapor-X instead.

Slightly cheaper 290 DCUII at Amazon £210 (:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HOW1Q46/?tag=pcp0f-21

Does not ASUS have a bad rep about their coolers on 290s?

And it is cheaper for me thanks to postage

My problem is that I always promise myself that no PC upgrade as I need social life

But it would make an awesome futureproof GPU ( I am not using any GPU hard apps, light gaming, but it can support 6 displays and have the horsepower for years at 1080p gaming/light surround gaming)

I wish I didn't need a desk so much. Oh why does my desk have to be cracked? :(

What do they know of England, who only England know?

"Well that's what I always said I wanted to be remembered for, for being honest. Nothing else is worth a damn"

I have three off the legs already, just need the top and the fourth leg. Though, I got them from B&Q. Building my own is what I had on my mind. :D

I am not going to play for another month for sure, as I will not have any time, but damn, it seems like a good invesment, plenty of horsepower for 1080p for years and the possibility of 6  1080p displays (eg 4 for work, one large tv for videos)
