Airlines told to change cockpit screens in Boeing planes

Well seems that Honeywell (display screen manufacturer) and a Networking vendor noticed interference in one of the screens during an instillation on the ground back in 2012 and recently the FAA issued an instruction that will affect up to 1300 planes at a huge cost.

Seems mad to be replacing so many screens when it cannot be relocated, only that once.

Funny, trust Ryanair to complain lol

2012? What took them so long?

Oh that's nothing I was working in a contact centre that was called in to do a recall on a Fault that was affecting products from 2000 to 2006.

Wow, the faa had an AD on 737's due to a honeywell issue. Damn.

The airlines won't be happy about this.

Due to being part 121 they are required to comply with all AD's and Service Bulletin's.

Honeywell should have known about this prior to selling them.
