I don't think that it is a bad card, but you get for what you pay. And the driver problems aren't related to 270x'es. It's the same with all cards, even on the nVidia side.

I once had one of these, now I've got this.

wut? The only reason you shouldn't buy a 270X is because you should save money, buy a 270 and overclock it yourself. None of those reasons.

It's hard to figure out fanboys now-a-days.I want real life proofs that R9 270X is better than what people claim. And i hate RMA.

Silly argument because the 270X can overclock too.

Its completely fine, but i prefer to get the "non x" versions of cards, I just think they save a little money.

The 270X is fine. Although I doubt there's anybody right now who isn't riding the Nvidia train with the GTX970 and GTX 980 out.

The 270 IS a 270X, but the X has been OC'd in the factory before being sent to you, and that's what you're paying for.

Completely different market. £500 and £300 card, vs a £150 card.

Its not really positive feedback, its just sane people defending the card from the insane BS that nvidia-fanboys tend to spread. Its just as good as any other card.

The nvidia fans really have allot to fanboy about with the new 9xx series cards. This is coming from a bit of an AMD Radeon fan myself but above all else i am a fan of what nvidia or AMD can offer me in terms of value for my money and performance for the dollar. In that respect nvidia has hit an overwhelming home run with the 9xx series and I have no problem recommending the 9xx series over AMD any day.

agreed. I'll wait for AMDs response to the 900 series and then make my decision.

This. Remember I am the one that everyone thought of as a raging AMD fanboy but I said it before the 9xx series came out and Ill say it again "I will fully hop on board and promote nvidia if they actually come out with something that actually offers price/performance" That is exactly what I am doing now and i even bought a STRIX 970 .

the sliders on the 270's have limits that are very low. the 270X has much higher limits so i might overclock further.

I can remember those days when having Geforce 8800 Ultra would consider having nukes for gamers!!!!!!!!!!Now 8800 Ultra can't even match GTX 750.Same for GTX 9XX series.I don't care anymore. What i care is present.I care about present games and capable graphics cards which can run present games.Future proof is BS to me.
