Random question for future build

Go to solution Solved by Shaqo_Wyn,

Oh ok!

I mean, I was in between the H100i and the H220x and decided to go with the h220x just in case I get a bit more "enthusiast" and want to water cool my gpu.

Well, if I don't need to change the liquid, and I can have the noctuas on the h220x, then I think I should just go with the h220x. Correct?

Thanks again.

Yep. Enjoy :)

Hey there!

So I am planning on getting an i-7 4790K and cooling it with a H220X. Now, I want to know if I ever need to change the coolant/liquid?
I hope that I dont need to.

If so, what are other aio coolers that I can use in the Phantecks Enthoo Luxe (going to have the rad and fans in pull for easier cleaning)?? H100i?
Kraken? (Again, if the coolant does need to be replaced)

*side note, I am probably going to be using Noctua industral fans (needs to go with color scheme, and the fans are Killer) <-- just in case anyone asks.

Thanks!

The H100i is a great cooler; and you'll never have to change the coolant... because you can't.

Don't worry about changing the coolant. As the H220x is an AIO, you do not have to change the coolant. However the option is there for the water cooling enthusiasts who want to use their own coolant.

The Enthoo Luxe can fit up to 3x 120/140 fans in the top. So any AIO out there at moment will fit, up to 360/420mm. If you plan on expanding on it the H220-X is a good choice. Other non-expandable AIO's that work great are the H105, Kraken X61, Nepton 280L, Seidon 240M, Silverstone Tundra TD02 and many more. All AIO's are completely maintenance free (no need to replace the liquid). The H220-X gives you the choice of changing the fluid if you deem necessary or for further expansion.
