an other amd r9 290 or nvidia 780 ti ?

hello,

i have a amd r9 290 (OC) in my pc and i have a triple monitor setup. i want to buy a other 290 for my pc but if the 780 ti(or a titan) performance  better i would buy that one (if its compatible whit my setup) now i would like to know what is better. so far is know is it possible to render via CUDA (i render a lot via sonyvegas AND THAT IS SLOW DAMMMM) and that's only on nvidia chips. so that is a reason to buy a nvidia but i my monitors are now coonceted via a 2 x DVI 1 x HDMI (WHITEOUT A ACTIVE DISPLAY-PORT ADAPTER) but if want to use the same setup on a 780 Ti can i stil use this setup ? can someone help my out ?

I would grab another 290 and blow the green team out of the water (other than in Vegas).

Just wondering, whats your CPU? How much RAM do you have

Sony Vegas GPU acceleration works on AMD cards too using OpenCL

 

also a second 290 is the only thing that makes sense

Get the second 290.

 

If your build was 1 290 vs 1 780ti, you would want the 780ti, but since you're going up to 290 crossfire, that will crush a single 780ti any day.

It doesn't make any sense at all to ditch your card and get a 780ti, get a second one by all means.

i have a amd fx 8350 4Ghz adn 16 gb of ram 4 x 4GB g skill ddr3 ram and 1 a WD 1 tb hdd and a samsung 250 gb ssd and 2 WD 250 GB hdd.

but when i rander on open cl is doesed make it faster. the only thing it does is freezing my pc compleet (my pc is only 2 moths old) i donu why

Do you have a good enough PSU? And I had the same issue with acceleration, although other people don't seem to

since when there is no openCL support in vegas?

 

AMD gpus blow Nvidea gpus out of the water in vegas,tho i think mp4 doesnt work with openCL but this is true >
