i think the msi mobo is good for its price right now, but maybe you guys can find better ones for me at that price

MSI Gaming boards are really good value for money! Very good boards, very reliable with some good features and not overpriced like some boards

Do the newer MSI boards allow control of the LLC? My MSI 990FXA-GD65 has no option to alter the LLC settings, which means i have to have my vcore a bit higher to keep a stable OC.

If you spend slightly more money you can get one of the best motherboards around http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-maximusvihero. Though if you want cheaper you can pretty much not go wrong with an MSI motherboard. They are really good.

Gaming 5 is the sweet spot very solid board for the price very nice features rock solid and dead sexy, support SLI and crossfire, good overclocker, can't go wrong.
