Go to your local office depot, or staples or whatever. Find the chair section. Sit your ass down in a chair, and find what's comfortable. I sell chairs at work and that's my advice.

What DXracer would people recommend for persons about 6'2, and are they durable? I've been wanting to get one for a while, heard very good things from them for the price.

I love StarCraft

Most office chairs you can get are often relatively cheap and really bad for you/bad durability though, possibly including DXracer. If you want a good, durable, customizable chair you're going to have to throw a lot more money (€500+) towards a good chair. Others will just die within 2 years.

I beg to differ. I bought my chair from Leiner (a home depot) for 80 euros. It is VERY well built and has lasted me for 4+ years and has no signs of aging. Then again, it's hard to find such chairs and the one i chose was the only one in stock. Just keep looking (took me 2 days of going from shop to shop to find the right one) and you'll probably find the one for you.

It probably is, but just like DXracer and needforseat, they get their stuff promoted. I tend not to go off on these videos or websites, mostly go to forums (Team Liquid, LTT) to find out because they do a LOT of promotion.

If you just want an office chair that's beyond comfortable than go to Ethan Allen (if you have near you) and look at this one http://www.ethanallen.com/en_US/727610.html?start=13 . It's expensive but super comfortable. I'm getting one once I save up some money and get my new desk. Plus, the chair will last forever since it's made by Ethan Allen.

But that is the ugliest chair I've ever seen and it's MASSIVELY over priced.

So, shirtless, mesh chair, shirt, leather chair.

Go to fucking stapples and sit. The difference between a 10000 chair and a 140 chair in comfort will be zilch. Find one that you think is comfortable.

You can customize it. Plus, they look a lot better in person. I do agree though that one looks like crap but if you sit in one you'll understand the price. Part of the price is for the name I understand that and I'm willing to accept that for the extreme comfort.

I don't think there's such a thing as a gaming chair but yeah as I've said on other threads I have a Dxracer and I'm perfectly satisfied with it and after 2 years it shows no real signs of wear and I'm on this thing many many hours every day. It's very comfy for me and I'm 6'. The chairs at staples were garbage and I like to indulge in geeky stuff, but I was worried it was a gimmick when I ordered it before trying it out, luckily I was pleasantly surprised because of how much better it was than the previous chair I had used for 4-5 years.

Chairs under $150 will tend to fall apart after a few years. Many people like to recommend buying chairs in the $800 range, the Herman Miller chairs get recommended a lot everywhere so I'd assume they're pretty good and extremely durable.

That said, I've sat in a $2000 executive chair at the office's conference room and didn't find it any more comfy than my $300 gimmicky chair.
