Prepare yourselves, the three new behemoths of nvidia are here

brownninja97

Waiting for the GT820.. 800 series thats where it's at.

I mean elaborate as to why do you need a dedicated card like this: for everyday usage most integrated solutions would do just fine and for gaming things like a Kaveri APU would probably be as fast as this products.

Yeah, because AMD never rebrands cards. Oh, wait, that's right, every single R series card is a rebrand EXCEPT the 290 and 290X. So the 230, 240, 250, 250x, 260, 260x, 265, 270, 270x, 280, and 280x are ALL rebrands. Not saying one company is better than the other, not gonna argue what is strictly a matter of opinion, but I am pointing out the fact that BOTH card developers use rebrands and that the practice is nothing new.

amd rebrands, 250x(777), 265(7850), 270/x(7870), 280(7950), 280x(7970)

amd new cards and revisions, 240, 250, 260, 290, 290x, 7990*, 295x2

exceptions 260x is a 7790R2, not a rebrand but not new either.

*7990 is still a new/stand alone card albeit on an old architecture, in the same way nvidia rebranded the 7xx series but kept selling the 690...

nvidia has too many rebrands for me to type otherwise i would, they also have a near equal amount of new cards (or atleast altered varients of old cards(.

still managed to make 4 cards out of 1 gpu die that was originally used in the quadro k6000 in the first place, recycling ftw!

They're not even Maxwell.

Imagine a GT 705 Maxwell card. The power usage would be so low you could hook up a Duracell to it and it'd run

No no no thats too much power. A potato could power this beast.

Noob incoming here, with little GPU knowledge..

Can someone compare these specs to any Nvidia card on the market today, are they any good? Let's say compared to my 780 I have.

NZXT H440   //   MSI Z87 MPOWER MAX AC   //   i5 4670K   //   MSI GTX 780 Lightning 3GB   //   HyperX Beast 8GB 2400mhz   //   OCZ Agility

@brownninja97 So the 710 and 720 should be Kepler right? You said that the 720 was a full rebrand. What is it specifically a full rebrand of? 630 v2, 640 v1, 640 v2?
