Should I get a GTX 770 or 2 R9 270x's (In crossfire)

I may mine around 14hrs a day with this but I'm not sure, I know the 270x's get a way better hash rate, but otherwise not sure. I will also be using this for some medium level gaming (games are memory and otherwise intensive, but I don't play for very long at a time (in one sitting) If there is a different graphics card setup you'd suggest, my graphics card budget is $500 I will be upgrading my ram to 2x8 in the summer as well as adding a third of the same monitor.
So my build is post-57905-0-18457000-1392663774.jpg

770 All the way. Although if you do plan on mining, I would say get two 270x's. If your budget is $500, get a 780, and don't look back.

Get the 770, Radeon cards are overpriced right now because of all the miners. You will have much better performance just getting one GTX 770.

770. If getting a good hash rates in mining is important, why not 280X? You could get them for $500.

I would say go with the 770, and if possible buy a 780. I have heard mix feeling about AMD, and have heard the new bridge less crossfire is excellent, but this does not beat that two medium grade cards are not as good as a high quality single card.

AMD isn't winning in price vs performance right now because of the bit coin miners.  And always go for the single gpu set up for the lesser headache.

770 or 780, if you can find one cheap enough. Then run outside and wait for the mailman.

Don't get a 280x, as it is a giant waste of money, and i don't see the price adding up to the performance. If anything get a 280, and not the 280x.

If you plan on mining go for the 280x as @josephting said. Yeah you probably lose out on 100kh/s but you also save ~200-300 watts. It more than makes up for it.

If you don't plan on mining for sure, as others have said the GTX 780 should be your steed of choice.

Do you need the 16g of RAM? It's probably worth it getting a dual channel kit now, and if you really need a dual channel kit in the summer.

if you plan on mining you can stop reading my post now cause all I know about it is that AMD is better

if you don't plan on mining then get a 780.  Its the best bang for the buck at the $500 price range right now.

Dual channel RAM is better. If you already have it, it doesn't matter.

280x is better than 2 270x for mining. 780 is better than either.

Right now a 770 or 780 is a better choice due to price inflation thanks to the bit coin crap. I have two R9-270X in crossfire and they run amazing on the 13.12 drivers. The 14.1 beta drivers give alot of issues on multi gpu setups right now. But even on the old drivers I hit 70+ fps on BF4 everything maxed out at 1366x768. But i got the cards at $185 a piece on sale before the damn inflation caused by the coin crap.
