Posted November 20, 2018 a 980 ti is the same as a 1060 6gb, the 1070 will be better. If you want some more performance though, go get a used 1080 off ebay. Posted November 20, 2018 1070 is newer and more energy efficient. performance basically the same depending on how much you game and how long you game for it may possibly save you money in the long run, whether thats enough for the price difference I doubt it, I would try to negotiate the 1070 down, unless the 1070 is new at a store, then the warranty is worth the extra cost. If you OC I'd go with 980ti. 980 ti will be a bit faster, cost less, but have less VRAM and have higher power consumption.
