I have 5 x99 LGA2011 mobos and now idea what to do..

I also have 10 1080 sc 8gb GPUs. Should I build systems using the x99 mobos? There doesn't seem to be allot of CPUs out there that would go well with a 1080. Or do I sell the mobos on eBay? They are brand new never been opened. I'm in the hole $500 for the boards. I know I could have to eat some of that.

if you have the hardware and no purpose for it, just sell? Put computers together for no purpose other than just having the mobo and gpu doesn't seem a good money management.

 

Also an i7 6900K is still better than the Ryzen 7 2700X and I would love having one if its price tag wasn't ludicrous.

Good CPUs for the 1080? i7 6800k.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
