New Mining Adventure...FPGA Mining?

There have been like 4 mining adventures now but everyone in the mining community seems to have neglected that you can mine for certain coins on FPGAs.  I'm waiting to earn enough on my current GPU setup to build an FPGA rig(they're way more expensive than GPUs).  Would anyone else want to see a mining adventure for FPGAs?

If you don't know what an FPGA is, it stands for Field Programmable Gate Array.  They're basically in between GPUs and ASICS for speed and variability in use.

Mining goes up and down.  I'm anticipating the prices of cryptocurrencies to go back up and make mining profitable again.  Some people are even mining at a loss right now in anticipation that they can sell for a profit later.  I'm mining in my dorm so I have free electricity ?.

FPGA's are in a weird spot. There isn't much that there good for, as there have been asics that have been made for most algro's.

Imo mining is a stupid way to secure crypto. I'm a massive hypocrite because I profited a lot on my 1060 and 1050ti but it's not ethical to throw MOUNTAINS of electricity at an artifical load.

That's an F in the profile pic

@Froody129 what are your thoughts on staking then?  I'm trying to learn more about cryptocurrencies and staking is a huge topic right now.

But you lose money through degrading your hardware faster.

You'll make more money by picking up pennies off the sidewalk.

Invest your time and money on something that will actually return something.

An FPGA Mining Adventure vid would be great, because unlike ASICs, if one algorithm goes unprofitable, you can just grab another bitstream and mine profitably again.
