Does 10 bit monitor support 8 bit?

I think I commited a mistake and bought true 10 bit monitor besides a 8 bit + FRC.

 

I haven't put everything together because I'm missing few parts.

 

So would this monitor:

 

ViewSonic VA2719-2k-SMHD

 

Allow me to run on 8 bit since my card doesn't support 10 bit?

 

Or would it just not display anything?
