Bridge Camera's for less than £200/$330

MzCatieB

title says it all, i am looking at getting a bridge camera for less than £200.

Reasons for a bridge camera:

i don't have a budget for a DSLR camera and all the lenses that you need to work with 1 effectively.

Compact camera's are just as bad as camera phones in most cases.

I need the camera for work (Taking reference pictures to work from, Close up pictures of surfaces to be turn in to brushes .ext)

Anyone think they can help me?

How close are you wanting to get?

You might want to try a mirrorless camera. There's a couple models that can be had pretty cheap, and they have much larger sensors to get a better image.

If you want the same style as the one you linked to, there are a few other choices I'd consider first.

1) Canon SX510 HS

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-PowerShot-SX510-HS-Camera/dp/B00EQ7EGXU/ref=sr_1_6?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1389214629&sr=1-6&keywords=bridge+camera

2) Sony H200

A great source for comparing cameras is http://snapsort.com/compare While this site does give you a score underneath the camera, it's always best to go over to the specifications and see how they match up as you'll have different needs, and this is more of an over all comparison and not every phone has all of the fields filled in. It's pretty over all accurate though.

I get a strong nod towards the Canon. I think you might even qualify for an additional 30 pound off that price (not sure if they included that in the discount listed), which would make it a fantastic deal.
