How much RAM should we get?

Hey everybody, I am currently looking for a new gaming laptop, because sadly, my old gaming laptop got stolen, anyways, the laptop that I am concidering very much(Its an Omen) has 16gb of RAM, but should I keep the 16gb, or should I go full on with the 32gb, ooorrrr, maybe reduce costs and just get 12gb, or go full lame and only get 8gb, let me know what I should get.

16GB is more than enough for gaming.

go with the 16. it ensures that you will be able to keep gaming on it even if it's more RAM needing games such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  Plus it will perofrm better overall since it can have more programs open at the same time without performance issues.

Depends 16GB is fine for just gaming.  I've seen mine sit at 18GB/32GB with just Chrome and a few other browsers open (I saw my wife had 100 chrome tabs up the other day lol).

8GB will work but is stretching it unless you have an APU then 16GB at the very minimum.

i'd suggest 16, ive seen 13-14gb usage during bfv vids on youtube. I can't imagine doing a new build with 8gb right now, 32 is overkill for now, but it's not the worst decision.
