Should i upgrade

i3 3240 3.40GHZ

8gb of ddr3 1333mhz ram

GT 1030 GDDR5 OC

1 120gb ssd 1 250 gb hard drive 1 320gb hard drive

 

Just wondering if i should upgrade and what i should 

things i do

Minecraft

gta 5

rocket league

gta 4

youtube

netfilx

video edit/music edit

remeber i have a Small form factor pc that can only 50w through the PCIe slot my pc supports dual slot so yeah

PC My i7 failed so i put my older i3 back in

get an core i 5 3rd gen used for almost nothing.

 

pick up a new PSU if the one you have isnt great.

 

get a new GPU, say an hd 7850 if you are on a budget. or something newer like a gtx 1060 or rx 580.

 

 

would blower style cooler be a must in your case?

cant get full sized gpus or i would i mean i couldbut i would have to frankinstein the case like hell

you have 2 slots?

 

are they full sized ones or are they half sized ones?

 

is card length the issue?

well, PCIe 3.0 is supposed to be able to get out 75 watt.

 

you can either step down to the 1050 or set a power limit on the 1050ti.

The 1050 uses 75 as well and i have PCIe 2.0

you might want to look into a full system overhail then with a new mini-itx case to fit new components. 

 

or swap the case and get a new PSU, then pick up a GPU with suplementary power connectors o bypass the board power issue.
