Expect it early to mid November.

Microsoft is in the final testing stages with this build after being pulled back earlier in the month. It was pulled because Microsoft added a nice feature to Windows 10 that many users didn't like, which was the ability to magically disappear user data during the upgrade process. Windows 10 1809 The great magician! Trained by Houdini himself!

(but in all seriousness: user data was permanently loss for some users. Microsoft setup a free data recovery service for those affected to try and get the most data back).

The current status is that it is fixed, and Microsoft is doing extensive testing and delivered the update to those part of the Insider program to get more setup configurations to ensure no more problem.

If you really want to update and can't wait join the Insider program or download an updated iso and upgrade from it manually
