So my Cpu While gaming on stuff like guild wars 2, Skyrim (heavily modded) Secondlife and a few others sits at 90-98% usage dependens on how much is going on, While my gpu is sitting around 50% max. So I am trying to find out if I upgrade to a fx 6300 or a fx 8320e if I would still be bottle necking. Any input is welcomed, just no bashing amd/intel. We use what we can aford.

an FX 8320e would be best, or even 8350, whatever is cheapest on eBay, but they both suck cause they're really old. If you can save up for ryzen, you'd have a lot more to look forward to.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Well the thing is I can only save up a few bucks here or there. Hence the whole budget build, I have had my 4300 for about 4 years now as well, and the pick of the 8320e is cause my mobo is only 95w

That said, my cousin built a system with a 4350, and upgraded to an 8350 (i believe, one of the multitude of 8 cores) and that totally revived his system. He built at that awkward time where AMD was old but Intel wasn't really that cheap, and Ryzen wasn't really that close either. It's definitely not great, but it plays 1080p games just fine.

Also if you're gonna stay on the AM3(+) platform, get an 8 core. skip the 6300 all together, it's not worth the very minor improvements you'll see.

So save up the extra amount and just skip the 6300, and I shouldn't have as bad of bottle necking? The whole bottle necking thing is rather new to me personally I have only learned a little about it from the Linus videos lol. So sorry for the crappy question

First you should install a 64bit operating system.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

I am running windows 10 pro 64 bit. Operating system

Is it a legit version or was it a pirated copy?

That says only 3.7GB of RAM is usable, which IIRC would be the hard limit for 32bit OS. If it truly is a legitimate 64bit OS, then you have another issue with your memory that you need to address...
Having the OS only being able to access 3.7GB of RAM will cause you performance issues in almost all games, especially some of the titles you mentioned such as Skyrim with mods.

I got my copy of windows 10 from the windows insider and have had it since, so it's a real copy, that also dates how old my computer is cause I made it at the same time that was a thing.Activation

What is your RAM configuration? Is it 4GB+8GB? If so, try removing the 4GB stick and seeing if the system boots with just the 8GB stick installed. If it boots, check what Windows is reporting as being available. If it doesn't boot, try moving the 8GB stick to a different slot.

It is a 4gb+8gb even when I had two 4gbs it's always only allocated the same amount but I will give it a quick shot.
