Hello!

So I currently have 110 Euros saved up and I think I should upgrade my Athlon x4 845.

I'm not sure if I should upgrade now or should I save up a bit more...

110 euros is approx 124 USD.

124 USD might get you a Ryzen CPU, but your current board and RAM will be incompatible.

You could probably get a higher Athlon, but that whole series is massively outdated. You're better off waiting till you can jump to Ryzen

Don't forget that you're going to need a new mobo and RAM, too, so that 110€ isn't going to get you much. I'm assuming your budget is really low, so perhaps consider saving up for a Ryzen 3 2200G-based setup -- it's still quite a bit faster CPU than your current one, pretty cheap and you'll then have a modern mobo you can upgrade the CPU on later on, if you wish.

maybe an AM4 compatible cooler for higher overclocks.... but honestly saving up is the best choice.

get an AM4 based Athlon 200 GE, only $50 for the cpu, with a build in gpu!

it is Ryzen at heart, so you'll get the same IPC, only the core count reduced.

if you have more money you can just swap it with a better cpu.

in the meantime it is the best bang for the buck.

Personally, I disagree. IMHO, the Ryzen 3 2200G is the better buy, especially so, if the OP did even mild overclocking. The APU doesn't support overclocking at all.

with only $110 there's no room for the motherboard.

$50 for the cpu, $50 for the motherboard.

you still need the ddr4 at least 2x4gb.

this enough to blow the athlon 845 the OP original plan.

You need about 250 for a decent build. So keep saving. If you do come up with 250 then go with some 3000 ram. I did 2666 because it shaved about 15 bucks off. Plus I am fairly confident it can be overclocked to 2800 to 3000 without much effort lol
