Which GPU for 280 watts

OP you would be fine up to a 1050ti. Just make sure it isn't one that needs the pci-e 6 pin plugs. Pretty much any gpu that gets it's power from pci-e slot on the motherboard will be fine.

I didn't feel like checking all of them to make sure. I know with the 750 ti some of the non-reference variants DID have one.

Agree - but man its fun to get one of these old workstations for next to nothing and plug in your old hardware laying around and get it to be a decent rig lol.  I have less than $200 in my Media Center and its a freaking beast for what it is (GTA 5, ARK etc) - I am only limited by my GPU because Im not going to spend more money on it, for its use case is supposed to be streaming for my kids lol

I didnt have to add any psu, it was becouse of a locked bios that I couldnt add any other gpu. But a psu upgrade in oem pc's is done a lot.

Guys i saw on a site that a Lenovo HD Radeon 7450 1GB has total consumption of 25 watts that means i wont have issues installing a GT 1030 card 5 watts wont be any issue.

That's why I said "at most" you'd be adding 12W, many sources have it as low as 18W, the 1030 DDR5 variant is a 30W card.

Either way, we are talking about an extremely small difference in power consumption.
