OnePlus 6T & Verizon Wireless

zrmaxwell

Oneplus is working hard apparently to make sure that the yet to be announced OnePlus 6T will work on Verizon Wireless.. If this certification happens and OnePlus gets the OK, then it will be the first OnePlus device in their lineup of phones to work on the big red carrier.

Are you at all curious to see what the future holds for OnePlus?

I stopped listening to OnePlus when they announced the murder of jack on the 6t.

I feel like OnePlus isn't the company it once was either, like most companies I suppose. See they used to offer super good phones (not top of the line but always really good) for an easily affordable price but after the 3/3t they seem to be pricing their phones at a more flagship rate and copying the designs of other big phone brands (HTC Samsung iPhone). I was all excited for the 6T as it'd be a nice upgrade from my 3 but the no headphone jack really killed it for me as it's a must for me. Others may approve of the decision to remove it.

I think the 5T is still a great phone, and you can even argue the 6 is also, I guess. But yeah they're just following everyone with the jack and notch trend now...

i'm kind of split down the middle when it comes to the removal of the headphone jack. I listen to audio through the headphone jack on my phone, but once my phone dies and gets no more software updates, i'm probably gonna end up with a headphone jack-less phone because losing it is not the end of the world for me at all and i can start using the headphone adapter if provided for wired headphone needs and Bluetooth for convenience..  ?‍♂️

I really like my One Plus 3T, but now that they are charging Flagship pricing, I doubt Ill buy another phone from them. It was the price point of the 3T that sold me, I feel I got a lot of the price too. Also, I could careless if they are one Verizon. Im a T Mobile sub so Im all about Team Magenta.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Nope.

I followed OnePlus since their inception. They were dead to me right off the start with their lies of making a 5.5" phone in a 5" phone size.

Which turned out to be absolute bullshit, just like most of the other marketing they've had to date.

Unfortunate, but that's the way the cookie crumbles I guess.
