Hey I think I brought a broke gpu

I brought a graphics card from eBay but I can’t get it to work, it doesn’t show up in bios or device manager and can’t download drivers as says it can’t find compatible hardware, I think I may of found the problem, the motherboard connector is slightly scratched would this stop it working? And how would I fix something like this do any shops fix this (UK)? Thanks

What card is it? That scratch looks minimal, so I doubt that would be the problem. It's also not on the data pins of the PCI connector.

 

I think what happened is someone tried flashing another BIOS but failed and bricked the card.

If you got the card in that state, then I would enact eBay's money-back guarantee
