R9 270x for 75 $ is it a good deal?

Hey Guyz..

Sorry for my bad english

i was getting a gpu and in my area r9 270x is available but i really wanted to know 3 things..

1. is it good for 75$?

2. will there be a bottleneck in my system? specs are...

xeon x5670 6 cores and 12 threads at stock speed

8 gb ddr 3 ram

525 watt power supply

3. what model should i get.. i have two options at the same price.. r9 270x dual x from sapphire .. and.. r9 270x vapor x from sapphire i think vapor x has a little high core and memory clock but i don't know about the cooling..

The 270/X is just a 7850/7870

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

If you can find a 7950/7970 or one of the ones I listed there on the cheap it's probably worth getting that over a 270 if you can

The 380 is just a faster 7950/280

If you can budget it out the 280 or 280X is probably worth it.

@Muhammad Osama you can also check for a 6950 2 gb version. Still better than a 270...I have two of them considering to sell.

No idea, probably not.

AMD stopped doing proper driver updates for those cards a while back, they gave it the first crimson driver or something to cap it off.

I think it supports it well. Look all in all a 6950 is a very good card, beasty and higher tier than 270x but guys above are right. 270x has better driver support and only for that you should maybe go with 270x. If you want to save money it's still a good choice.

No it's probably the same but in graphics and other works it outperforms the 270x. Think that i played BF1 with 6950 1080p low settings around 30 fps.  Both cards cannot output much in AAA or very new titles. Just remember to go Sapphire. It's the best choice for every amd card.

In the same price you might find the 6970 . Don't think to flash a 6950 to 6970 if you go this way. Although you can it's risky even if the card has dual bios.

Nope. This is the original 7870, without clock speed bump and improved driver.

270x = 7870 with >1Ghz clock speed
