With Intel's newest gen coming out tomorrow? I wouldn't bother with either until the mobile versions were out.

I'd rather have a clevo p870tm if you are asking for fun.

If your actually looking at those two models I would pick the sager, but that's mostly because I've never had good luck with msi laptops.

Haha so it is. I just had that one marked in my browser.

As for msi, I have no desire to debate the topic, but I've been through several msi laptops across two line ups. On the plus side I've never had the same issue twice.

Both have their own pros and cons

Where are you from? Budget? Usage? Preferred max weight and min battery life?

Frankly, even if I have the money, I would choose neither. These 2 beasts are too bulky for a "laptop".

Both are good models. If you want to buy P775/P870, make sure you buy from resellers that provide delid CPUs like HIDevolution and ObsidianPC

P775/P870 - more CPU power, more GPU power (for P870)

GT75 - better keyboard, audio

Really? The 9900K runs so hot, even the biggest Noctua coolers can't keep it under 85C under full load. It's a pre-overclocked, 8700k with an extra 2 cores. You can't overclock it anymore than it already sits at. Aside from that point, it doesn't game any better than the 8700k, so again, the point is moot.

Build a desktop. Seriously. I've heard of some ludicrous laptop setups, but why buy a laptop that costs double the equivalently priced desktop and then just... use an external keyboard? They come with high-quality keyboards built in. There's nothing cheap about that model in the slightest. Why bother with a machine like that unless you require a smaller, less immobile setup?

Razer blade 2018, or Asus zephyrus. I still believe a laptop should be portable at least. The 2 model you mentioned are almost as heavy as my gig.

well i thought about that but unfortunately there is two problems,

1-I have never built a pc before.

2- I travel alot so i need a laptop for now, and i will consider building a pc later.

if it is for gaming u shouldnt care about the weight nor the battery life.

if it is not for gaming then u should care about the weight and the battery life.

Cause u will always game while ur laptop is plugged in, and i mean u will not gaming carrying it so weight doesnt matter alot, and if it do u should go to gym or something lol.
