The case wouldnt be considered "High quality" but for $30 its actually a good value. My only suggestion would be to add a fan or two to the front for good airflow.

Depends on what do you want to put inside. If only mainboard and nothing else - it looks like ok. Otherwise it's pretty useless. And if you have any HDD, it may be loud because of assembly method. But for lights, fans and look only - it's ok.

I wouldn't save too much on a Case as cheapish cases usually are very cheap.

And feel cheap.

Have some serious disadvantages and higher tolerances in manufacturing.

Thin metal construction.

So no, you should not use it. I'd rather use a Cardbord box and Zip Ties than a 30€ Case (except for a used, high quality one).

I mean, heck why not! If anything, maybe just go through the hassle of returning it and paying shipping? That or it could become a project case.

ie; paint jobs, case mods, etc.

I'd do it but I currently don't have the space to do anything fun like that (apartment)

I'd love to try things like plasti-dipping or case modding for air intakes and such.

Just look at what this guy did

Thing is:
With a good case, you usually use it until you stop liking it and wanting something new/better or until it is totally rotten or there will be a completely new and incompatible Form Factor that replaces ATX.

Except for that, why would you want to replace the Case??

There isn't really a reason for that...

I don't have a case, this is gonna be for a new build. I think I will get it tho because it has good reviews (only negative ones are not correlated to case quality and sizing) and the original pricing is $70, so I feel like it would be a disrespect not getting it. And I can always return it if something better pops up within the return period

Those Newegg MIR are iffy. I don't think I ever got the $20 for a cheap PSU I bought from newegg.

I'm here 3 months later waiting on a $20 MIR lol

Hmm, I think it's been over half a year for me, pretty much not counting on it.

So the question is... is this case worth $50ish dollars?

I'm pretty sure those MIR exist to make you ruin your ability to return the product. No original UPC on the box... no return.

Uhhh yeet but its honestly not that bad of a case for $50; however, i would maybe choose the fractal design focus g over this one for the extra fans

It's a trade off... tempered glass or more air flow. The focus G has a more open top and mounts for an additional fan at top. The clearance looks nearly the same so both would have problems mounting radiators with fans up top.

Yea, I'm not much of a fan of water cooling, and yea better air flow would be my choice but if I can get if for $30 then idc lmao
