Athlon 200ge Hackintosh

Does anyone know how the Althon 200ge handles osx. I know ryzen has a few problems, specifically with imsg.

My main goal is to setup a osx hackintosh server to run a program that allows me to send imsg compliant texts on my android phone.

The 200ge is one of the best options as far as cheap builds go.

Here's a good place to look for compatible hardware depending on what OS you want to run.

what you want to do is figure out what motherboard is compoatible, THEN from that compatible motherboard, figure out witch cpu you want to use.
Generally, any cpu compatible with the motherboard will work fine.

I completely and totally apologize. the TOS and community guidelines were updated August 27th. Apparently they have reconsidered (FINALLY!) hackintosh discussion. It was an enigma to most of us for the longest time as well that the video would present, but discussion about it was not.

we're not talking about how to obtain the os or weather its should be done or not. I don't encourage it tbh, but if its the way to go, im not the police.

and since linus himself didn't feel the need to hide the fact he built a hackintosh on the main youtube page.. well idk why we woudn't be able to talk about it.

Like i said, it was an enigma. No one understood why Hackintosh discussion wasn't allowed. But everyone agreed, "Not our house, Not our rules".

Incorrect, there was an update to the CS:

I suggest using a virtual machine for this. IIRC iMessage only works on Intel hackintoshes anyway.

Well then i guess when i upgrade to ryzen 2k or 3k ill just convert my 4670k back into one. One of my motherboards worked well, don't remember which.

A virtual machine would be better for that purpose, for a native hackintosh you would need a native kernel support, you could find one on the AMDosx site
