The great thing about Noctua support is that they will send hardware for your heatsink free of charge if you provide an invoice as proof of purchase.

What's wrong with a refurb CPU cooler? Its one of the few things on my exception list for used products.

Like I mentioned in the previous post. Noctua has outstanding customer support that this isn't a risk as some make it out to be. This isn't some no-name company, it's bloody Noctua.

What could break with an air CPU cooler?

<_<

What about a refurbed case? These are usually just returns or rejects for minor imperfections.

Could be damaged heatpipes but the cooler wouldn't even work properly in that case.

I had a referb h100 which worked brilliantly, until yesterday because my PC fell off of my desk...

The great thing about Noctua support is that they will send hardware for your heatsink free of charge if you provide an invoice as proof of purchase.

(Socket LGA1366/LGA1156/LGA775/AM2/AM2)

Hasn't got the mounting for 1150 and stuff :(

Would noctua give you the mounting hardware with proof of purchase?

What @Jumper118 said.

Noctua also sends out free hardware that you need for your cooler on proof of purchase with an invoice. They are seriously the best customer service I've ever dealt with.
