The R in the iPhone XR stands for REGULAR

Gandek

Without it being officially announced I'm pretty sure the R means regular. It makes perfect sense for future budget flagship iPhones going forward and really doesn't sound that bad. What do you guys think?

I highly doubt Apple would call anything "regular", even if it was garbage.  Marketing is something they have mastered

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

Boys... i'll just say 120 Hz.

Best Killerfeature this generation.

I don't even remember what they did with the Camera or anything.

120 Hz, even for the iPhone Xr, and the good design (i really have these 2011-Bezels). I wouldn't consider ANY other iPhone at all anymore, just because of the Refresh Rate.

All 3 only have 60Hz. Sorry, no ProMotion on iPhones this year.

Johnny Ive gives it away when he introduces the iPhone XR. “This new range of iPhone X” the R stands for range. Makes sense with the range of colours it’s offered in. Also it’s exacly how you talk about fashion items, it’s a fashion range.
