Help with SSD purchase

I finally feel like it's time for me to buy a SSD. Is there any SSD that is really good for it's price. I want at least 500GB and I'm willing to pay up to $430. I've thought about this.

You're fucking crazy to spend that amount. Im sure there are other areas of your system that you could upgrade instead. Go w/ 120gb, Samsung, less than 100 dollars.

Well. It really comes down to me not wanting to buy a new SSD in a couple of years because I don't have enough space.

I'd go with this. Better bang for the buck. Honestly you won't notice a difference...except double the capacity.

What are you going to be doing with a 500GB SSD? I'd say compromise with a 250GB EVO (which, is probably the sickest SSD out there, esp. with RAPID mode) and buy a 1TB hard drive for like $70 (ie a Seagate Baracuda or WD Blue).

i5-3570k and an R9 390 chugging along
