hey i was wounding if any one has used a 2u pcie 16x 90 Degree adapter on a normal pc mb? i do no that they were used on server mb's but would there be any compatibility problems? i also goin to use a 16x extension. instead of it stick out i was thing on the adapter to make it stick down.

 

any info would be help full. pc mb is a z270 asus tuf mark 1 (so looks like i need a 2u to clear the armor) and other adapter had caps near the pin.

As for compatibility it should be fine as there are just traces.  

Main rig                             I also got some cheep lg phone and a chromebook, witch I have been known to mine bitcoin on sometimes

CPU: R5 2400g                        

RAM: 8gb ram

MOBO: msi b350 pc mate 

CASE: Eclipse p300

PSU: 500w corsair

hmm well ill try it first with my rampage mb and gtx 760 first before trying with my z270 mark 1 and 1080 haha
