8-10 Hours a Day on my Ryzen 2700x and after that couple of hours a day on my coffee lake i7. On weekends and fridays I'm like 3-4 hours on AMD and between 10-24 hours on intel depending on if I sleep or not

Hmm, kind of a flawed question. Twitch is top-to-bottom streaming-platform, whereas Youtube is still very much for pre-recorded content -- they serve two entirely different audiences. I don't use Twitch because I don't give a flying fuck about watching some random pisshead playing games, and Twitch doesn't serve the kind of stuff I do care about. If both Youtube and Twitch did serve similar content I could at least compare them on their merits, like e.g. which one is better at presenting me the content I like, which one is better at finding new things that might interest me, which one does fewer things that piss me off and so on.

 

Nevertheless, I did answer Youtube here.

I don't really consume Twitch. If I'm up stupidly late I might occasionally catch the Wan show live. The other time is sometimes people stream FFXIV and they say when they're in the same instanced content. If I pull up the stream on my other system then, with the delay, I can see what killed me :) Otherwise I don't have time to really look at it.

 

For other gaming vids, I'd take the edited YT version.

I very rarely use twitch, there is one person who I like watching but I basically never find the time.

Why use twitch? Because I have Prime? Bah... Everything gets uploaded to youtube later anyways... Plus the 2 Twitch channels I'd watch I usually can't due to times anyways...

I don't use Twitch at all, i think i only watched a couple of CS:GO championship finals 3 years ago and that was it.

But on the other hand i do consume lots and lots of YouTube content, i'd say at least 50% of my web activity comes from it

I also use youtube.  Prerecorded videos have the potential for much better quality (writing, editing).  I just started a twitch account for the WAN show and Awesome Hardware, but haven't even watched them on there yet, because I keep getting assigned to work those nights, so I wind up watching later on youtube anyway.  I don't understand the appeal of watching someone else play a game (I don't understand for real life sports either).  It is more fun to play yourself.
