The mobo I'm planning to buy is the Maximus x code, which supports 4133mhz ram, so should I pay 290 USD for 4133mhz 16gb ram or just stick with 170 USD 3000 MHz 16 GB ram. Does the speed actually make a huge difference bcuz I don't want to spend that much money to realise that it was never worth it?

3200mhz is more than good enough for an Intel 8th gen.

No, only buy higher frequency if it's like $50 or less extra.

the 4133Mhz will almost certainly only be supported on 2 DIMMS, so if you wanted 2 more later you possibly wouldn't be able to use the XMPP settings.

Better just to go for middle of the road @ 3200 - its a good price to performance, and you're pretty much guaranteed to have your XMP Profile supported no matter how many DIMM's you have.

ikr. That ram looks dope af but the problem is the fact that im using an asus mobo and want that aura sync. I was first considering the pro rgb. I too picked the ll120 fans(they look really good). I too am a sort of corsair fanboy:D . Im gonna use the meshify c. My guess is that ur using an s340 elite by nzxt.

You'd have a better investment dumping the extra into lotto tickets. So not worth the premium.
