looking for a noise cancelling microphone

Im looking for a microphone which doesnt pickup any noise after 1-2 meters.

I share a room with someone and it would be nice if my mic didnt pickup the movie the other person is watching.

 

My budget is not a problem.

You could try the Tool NoiseGator but you also would need virtual audio cable to get it work.

Not a thing. A microphone can't discriminate sound by distance.

Get a modmic and place it close to your mouth and turn down the gain.

Then it shouldn't pick up anything other than your voice.
