Cant Install SSD Drivers on Samsung 960 Pro

VernoxVernax

Hello, I am trying to install Samsung Magician on my Windows 10 Pc. The problem is, when I open it up it says "Drive is not supported.". This can't be right I have Windows on it and also the device manager sees it. I have the newest Bios version installed. Does someone have an idea?

the bios says the ssd runs on NVME.

Any chance it's not genuine?

Magician and Samsung NVMe drivers won't work on a system that is set to RAID in BIOS even if you are not using any drives in RAID.

Select AHCI mode and things should work normally.

ok I tried to change to ahci but it doesnt work. It just sets it to raid by its self. I also tried it with this safe mode trick but same thing.

reseting the bios doesnt help either

Can you post screen shot of disk management with view > top > disk list

ok. so I finally managed it to solve this problem: Windows wanted Raid. Thats all. I had to reinstall Windows and then it worked. Im still wondering how the SATA mode got chnaged to Raid.
