GPU could not fit in my case.

Mr.Mago

Hey, I just ordered a Zotac gtx 1080ti AMP! edition which measures 300mm lenght. and my case has only 295mm space for gpu's. Will this be a problem? will it touch the drive bays ? my case is the AeroCool Strike-X Advance.

There's a reason for length measurements in GPUs and GPU space for cases. It doesn't look like those drive bays are removable. I doubt it will fit, unless you cut out part of the bays or drill out the rivets and remove the drive bays completely. Or... get a different case.

The 295mm spec assumes you're using the 3.5" hdd mounts. If you don't use the mounts directly in front of the card, it should fit fine.

There are no physical drive bays in this case. The mounts are "tooless" and have nothing surrounding them when not in use

So the GPU will fit, it will just have to be maneuvered into around the front HDD plate
