Wait... What? The 970 and 290 are both significantly faster than the Rx 460. Or do you mean in terms of power consumption? Because in that case I would say that 375W is also not enough for the 390 or 1060.

@Muhammad Osama

If you are looking at second hand I believe the closest card would be the gtx 950. Though you should stay aware of your PSU and check the minimum requirements for the card you are going to buy.

Did you miss the cheaper part? Even those 'worse' cards cost the same/more than a 460 lol.

The gtx 970 also performs alot better than a rx 460.

GTX 560ti will perform like a 750ti, or RX 460, but there are 1 and 2gb variants. A 2gb variant will fare better in 2018. If you're just running esports tier titles like CSGO however the 1gb version will be fine.

theyre fairly cheap on eBay at around 40-60$ shipped

the downside is that they're not as power efficient, it will need one or two 6 pin power connectors

you can get a 650, 650ti, 660, 570,  470 for sub 90$ as well but as with the 560ti, there are vram limits and power consumption to think about

im not as acquainted with older AMD cards but the lower end of the R9 or R7 series is cheap and effective, such as the 260x or 270

and as you said if you're just looking for "comfortably playable" kind of performance in 720p, even older or weaker cards will work, such as a 550ti or even a GT 640

i think a used 1030 would also be a good option since they tend to go for 70$ or so and perform like a GTX 750, just make sure to get a GDDR5 model

This should work great, and it's actually a little better than the rx 560 so you won't need to worry about framerates
