Netflix wants to remove iPhone and iPad Apple store pay method

30% thats actually a lot and Netlfix cannot even increase the subscription price as that will hurt them only.
So its best to redirect to web version for payment instead of itunes.

You don't use iTunes.  If you make a subscription from your phone you just use TouchID to complete the payment.  (And then it routes through Apple Pay which is connected to your credit / debit cards...payments on iOS is very "just works").  Netflix is trading a lot of convenience / impulse subscriptions for more of the pie.
