Is Monster Hunter World on PC Steam worth getting?

Is this game worth it? On Fanatical Games they have a 20% off Discount and was wondering if I should pick it up. I think I will have "respectable" frame rates on Medium/High Mix Settings as I have 16Gb RAM, GTX 1060 6Gb and a Ryzen 2600X.

Has anyone played this game on on your computers? I have played Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the 2DS XL and I loved it. Not sure if I will have the same experience on the PC though and if its worth $50 off of my credit card.

I got the game then refunded within 2 hours play. The game is a big mess right now. I don't know when Capcom is going to push out all these patches to address all these multiplayer issues and performance issues. I will say wait for a month to see how Capcom handle all these issues. You will get disconnect if you play online with other players.

I got the console version from friend as a gift, pretty sweet althought the cooking animation is stupid. Kinda like Final Fantasy 13 as thats the only ff ive played.

Damn thats a shame, that was one of the features of a Monster Hunter game that I really liked was playing with my friends or other people online and hunt monsters together. Hope Capcom gets these issues fixed soon.

When I had my PS4, that was one of the games that I wanted my friends to play with me, but most of them moved on to building gaming PC's after we all entered college.

99% you will disconnect when playing online.

My roommate put 39 hours into it during it's first 80 hours of release. He's played it every night since. He loves it.

I had it working for about 2h the other day but ya most of the time you can't get online to save your life

Definitely, I haven't stopped playing since it's release. As mentioned there is quite a few fixes needed but luckily for me I've only ever been dced once, apart from that the game was been fantastic. Also who plays full price for games g2a/cdkeys amirite?
