How much better is an i5 8400 than the i3 8100

Hey, I'm thinking of making an upgrade to my PC.

I am having a problem determining how much of an FPS boost I would get in general when upgrading to an i5 8400 from an i3 8100.

I mainly play Arma 3, modded Fallout and Skyrim (with ENBs and such) and VR games.

My current specs:

GPU: GTX 1070 8gb Windforce OC edition

CPU: i3 8100

MOBO: Z370 Aorus Ultra gaming

RAM: 16gb of HyperX and Corsair ram (Two 4gb sticks of each company)

PSU: Corsair 550w

Since you've got a Z370 board you should look at an 8600K if you wanted go for an i5.

Or an 8350k if he doesn't want to spend that much.
