windows snap problems

hi all

 

im pretty anoyed about part of the windows snap windows feture where when you left click the top egde resize zone it maximises the window.

i can disable it by turning the whole thing off, but i am still pretty happy about the rest of the feture and would really miss it.

im ok with the solution being software fx. something that can toggle locking my window layout.

i hope you can help.
